Today we are delighted to offer for a lovely set of crackle glass cups from Blenko!
Blenko, founded in 1921 in West Virginia, is
the most colorful name in glass and noted for its
skilled craftsmanship and creative design. Though unsigned, these pieces have been attributed to Blenko.
This set of 5 slim cups are crafted of clear art glass with the crackle design that Blenko, along with several other companies, was famous for pioneering. They have low, applied d-ring handles in Blenko's bright "Nile green" color (another point towards its attribution). These little cups are perfect for cordials or juice, and look charming on display. They are unsigned.
Cups present in good, as-found vintage condition, with minimal display wear/scuffing and patina commensurate with age. Two cups have slight fleabites on the rims. No other cracks or chips have been noted, but please review all photos.
These cups will look great in any mid-century cupboard, and are as practical as they are lovely. Fresh to the market!
Dimensions/each: 3-3/4" in height, appx. 2-7/8" in width (including handle), 2-1/4" in top diameter, 1-5/8" in base diameter
