Here we have a great handcrafted Blenko suncatcher, crafted in tangerine.   It features Bigfoot!   A great piece, thus far limited in quantity produced. They will most.likely.create more in the future, nut there is no guarantee. A neat piece!
Measures about 4-1/4 inches in diameter.   Hole is drilled in and ready for your hanger!
Stamped Blenko  2021 on back.  pieces are handcrafted and will be slightly irregular in shape and color. May contain bubbles, common in handcrafted glass!

Each of these pieces are completely handmade and thus will vary slightly.  The process is:
The gatherer bring a blob of hot glass to the craftsman, who shears off the desired amount.  He takes the carved metal mold/stamp and stamps it down on the ball of glass, flattening it and making the design.  The piece cools briefly, is slid over to a paddle and carried to the lehr where it cools slowly, which keeps the piece from cooling too quickly and helps harden the glass.  After several hours of cooling, the pieces are taken to the grinding department where they are drilled for hanging.   Each piece will vary slightly!
