Oclaro 15-W 808-nm YAG / vanadate pump laser with TEC, water-cooling block

Description

This is a very high-power Oclaro diode laser (15 W output at 808 nm). It can be used, for example, to pump neodymium-doped yttrium aluminum garnet (Nd:YAG) crystals or neodymium-doped yttrium orthovanadate (Nd:YVO4) crystals to generate 1064-nm light; many other uses are possible.

The laser comes with:
- hermetic gold package laser diode head with pigtailed optical fiber (SMA connector)
- 45 mm x 60 mm base with two thermoelectric coolers (TECs)
- thermocouple and custom PCB to control TEC (needs external temperature controller, not included)
- 90 mm x 150 mm aluminum block with water-cooling serpentine
- quick-release fluid connection for tubes to recirculating chiller (chiller not included)
- alligator clips to prevent electrostatic discharge (ESD) damage to diode
The laser was acquired in working condition; however, it has not been tested in our facility.
